  • The Birdville Education Foundation (BEF) is a non-profit, community-based organization established in 1996. The purpose of the fund is to encourage and support the creation of innovative projects that will enrich the education and growth of all students in Birdville ISD. BEF accomplishes its mission through its grants programs. BEF provides funds to finance educational opportunities outside the scope of the regular operating budget of Birdville ISD and targets areas such as enrichment of curriculum and instruction in the classroom, in the school, professional development and teacher learning, student leadership, school and community collaboration, and community participation in all aspects of education.  This year Snow Heights received a grant for $5,000.  This money will be used to purchase Dell tablets for the classroom.  These tablets will be used primarily in 5th grade ELA classes.  With the addition of these tablets, Snow Heights will have close to a 1:1 ratio of student to device in 4th and 5th grade classrooms.  Congratulations to Amy Haecker, April Hetherington, and Hanna Fields for being honored with this award.

  • Congratulations to Erin & Vito.  They are the Outstanding Citizens for 2013-2014.  Erin and Vito exemplify the qualities of a leader in the classroom, on the playground and in their daily interactions with friends.  We know that they are going to go out into the world and do great things.  We are so proud of you both.
