When Your Child Needs To Stay Home
Please keep your child home if they have a fever of 100° or more, is vomiting or has diarrhea. The school district policy states children may return to school when they have been free from fever (without Tylenol or Motrin), vomiting and/or diarrhea for 24 hours. This is not only for the protection of your child but for the protection of other children at our school. Please call the nurse's office when your child has been diagnosed by a physician with something infectious such as the flu, strep throat, chicken pox or a staph infection. We keep track of infectious diseases in the school. If antibiotic therapy for a contagious disease is begun, the students must remain out of school for the initial twenty-four (24) hours.
