December 8, 2016
Mrs. Nona Wilson donated $50,000 to Shannon High School's special education program on behalf of her late husband, Coach Aubrey Wilson. Coach Wilson was a long-time employee of Birdville ISD.
The Rebel Legacy Project donated $10,773 to fund the shade project next to the soccer/football field at Richland High School.

November 15, 2016
Taco Casa and The J Way Foundation donated items totaling $7,890 for students in need at Shannon High School.

October 27, 2016
The Texas Rangers Baseball Club donated game tickets to provide an opportunity for students and staff to attend a baseball game.  This donation is valued at $12,035.
Mr. David & Virginia Smith donated $3,000 to help purchase new playground equipment at Smith Elementary

September 20, 2016
Green Valley Elementary PTA donated $5,500 to Green Valley Elementary to assist with the purchase of high-level thinking materials for scholars and teachers in grades 2-5.
Porter Elementary PTA donated $3,675 to Porter Elementary to help defray the cost of field trips.
The Birdville Council of PTAs received a donation of 100 school supply packets valued at $3,000 to give to the teachers at Shannon HS for students who do not have the supplies they need.

August 25, 2016
Mr. David E. Smith donated $7,500 to Smith Elementary to help classroom teachers offset the cost of materials and supplies.
$4,176 was donated to the Richland Middle School athletics department for weight room equipment through Snap-Raise.
Birdville High School Soccer Booster Club donated $3,000 to the BHS boys and girls soccer activity funds.

July 28, 2016 
Smithfield Elementary PTA donated $7,000 to help fund a portion of the Capturing Kid’s Hearts Training program.
Kidsville, Inc. donates a portion of their funds to Smithfield Elementary every six weeks and the cumulative total of this donation was $5,015.55.  These funds will go towards the Capturing Kid’s Hearts training.
Walter L. Kelly donated art supplies valued at over $3,500 to BISD’s Fine Arts Department.
