Assistant Principal-Haltom Middle School
This year, I enter into my 15th year as an educator, and I am honored to get the opportunity to serve as one of the two Assistant Principals' of Haltom Middle School. Throughout my 15 years in education, I’ve served as an English Teacher, a girls Coach, a Literacy Specialist, a Special Programs Coordinator for Section 504 and RTI, and now an Assistant Principal. I have learned so much over the last 15 years, and enjoyed each role I have held while shaping and preparing students to be life-long learners.
I obtained both my Bachelor’s degree and Masters’ degrees from Texas Wesleyan University and a Doctorate in Education: Curriculum Instruction and Leadership from The University of Phoenix. My husband I have five children ranging from ages 30 to 15 and one granddaughter, Lynn Allison who is two. Our children are spread out all over the United States, so we spend a great deal of time traveling.
As a campus leader for HMS, it is my goal and desire to support teachers in honing their craft as a teacher as well as assist with providing opportunities for students to be successful during the time they are here at Haltom Middle School and beyond.
Please do not hesitate to contact me via phone at 817-547-4016 and/or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am so excited for my first year as an Assistant Principal and to get to know the parents, the students, and the community of Haltom Middle School.
