Welcome to Marla Hays's active website. Hello! My name is Marla Hays, Guidance Counselor for North Oaks Middle School. I have 25 years experience in education; 15 as a secondary math and business teacher and 10 years as a secondary counselor. Here is a little more about me: I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BBA in Business Management and then went back to obtain a teaching certificate in math and business education. I graduated from University of North Texas with a Master's in Educational Administration in 1993 and then again in 2003 with a Master's in Counseling. I have been married for 25 years and have one beautiful daughter, Hannah. I am involved in scheduling and registration, skyward access, report cards and progress reports, honor roll, testing, EXPLORE testing, CORE values, high school and higher education planning, academic and individual counseling.
