Welcome to the Academy at Carrie Frances Thomas (ACFT) Elementary!  We love children and we love watching them learn!  ACFT is the best school for children as we have some of the best teachers in the state—quite probably, in the universe!  We believe that all children can learn and will learn under our guidance and instruction.  Our staff members genuinely care about our students and their families and we ALL work together for each student’s success.

While we are TEA Recognized campus, we are also on the federal School Improvement Program which enables our staff to receive extra professional learning opportunities and specialized personnel which benefits all children at ACFT.  None of our STAAR scores are below 80 in any of the designated sub-population categories and we thoroughly enjoy watching each of our students learn at high levels and experience consistent success.
