I am thrilled to be a Green Valley Gator and an assistant principal at Green Valley Elementary School. Over the course of my public school career, I’ve taught students in all grades 4 through 9, I’ve coached all grades 7 through 12, and I’ve been an assistant principal in schools with students ranging from Pre-K to 9th grade. That journey has taken me through Lewisville, Colleyville, Bedford, Hurst, Mansfield, Haltom City, Watauga, and North Richland Hills. For the 2012-2013 school year, I am serving as assistant principal at Green Valley Elementary and Watauga Elementary. Whew! I’m tired just thinking about all the places I’ve been and the travelling I’ve done.
I recently was given a list of things that some of the Kindergarten scholars brainstormed when asked what I did every day. Their list pretty much sums it up…
· Helps scholars
· Watches and keeps us safe
· Fixes things
· Helps in the lunch room
· Solves problems
I think that list is awesome and I hope very much I can be all those things to all the scholars, teachers, staff, parents, and community of Green Valley.
