SIMMONS SAYS (Blog) Administrative Duties:
Education: Bachelor of Science - West Texas State University Major - Industrial Technology Education Minor - Psychology Masters of Education - Southwest Texas State University Educational Administration I began my career in 1986 as a teacher in Temple ISD and worked at Bonham Middle School until 1990. I then moved to Burnet ISD where I worked five years, first as an elementary school assistant principal for one year and then as the principal of Burnet Middle School until 1995. In 1995, I moved to Vermont to serve as the principal of Northfield Middle/High School and then moved to Williamsville, NY as assistant principal from 1997-1999 and as principal from 1999-2008. Most recently, I served as principal at Waco High School. My wonderful wife Amie works as an accountant for a local construction company and in addition to her two children Mark and Kristin, I have a son and daughter who currently reside in New York. My daughter Kiersten is a freshman at Daeman College in Amherst, New York and is pursuing a Physician's Assistant Degree. My son Benjamin is currently in 7th grade at Wilson Middle School in Wilson, New York. My Mission: I find that my mission in life is to simply serve others in a respectful, compassionate, dedicated and responsible manner. I believe that how you treat others is how you desire to be treated by yourself and one should have the integrity to apply this to every interaction they have with others each day.
