Academy Goals:
Participants in the Academy can expect to:
Enhance knowledge and skills to increase student success.
Become acquainted with Birdville ISD’s culture, expectations, vision and resources.
Academy Objectives:
Focus on how to create a learning environment that meets the needs of all learners; how to plan, teach and assess in ways that lead to student success; and how to maintain a well-organized classroom conducive to learning.
Dates:
August 13-14, 2012: First Year Teacher Academy, for those Birdville teachers New to BISD and the Profession
August 15-16, 2012: New Birdville Teacher Academy, for all new Birdville teachers
