Get to know Teresa

Teresa is working on her 20th year in Education. She  received her Bachelors from Tarleton State University in Elementary Education with a Specialization in Special Education and her  Masters in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. 
In the beginning years of her educational journey she worked with Special Needs Students for two years  and then taught 1st Grade for 9 years.  The last eight years she has been an Instructional Technology Specialist for Birdville ISD .  Teresa has the pleasure of supporting and enhancing the curriculum with the digital tools that enhance and excite students and staff. This year the district is focusing on the 4 C's: Commuication, Collaboration, Creativity and Critical Thinking.  Teresa works hand in hand with the Distance Learning Program in Birdville.  Video Conferencing and Skyping are great tools for our students and teachers to connect, collaborate, and communicate.
