Ms. Lindi Andrews Phone: 817-547-2510 It was with great honor that I was selected as the principal of The Academy at West Birdville in the spring of 2005. My journey to AWB has all been in Birdville Independent School District. Before beginning my teaching career, I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Abilene Christian University in 1984. I moved to Fort Worth and began teaching students math, PE and coached girls' athletics at North Oaks Junior High (now known as North Oaks Middle School). I began working on my Master's Degree at the University of North Texas during the summer of 1985. While continuing to teach and coach, I graduated in August of 1988 with a Master of Education degree. In 1991, I was hired as an assistant principal at Foster Village Elementary School where I stayed for 13 years. During the fall of 2005, I began my school year as the principal of The Academy at West Birdville. I am fortunate to work with a great group of staff, students, parents, and community. It is my goal and dream to see the students at The Academy at West Birdville become outstanding citizens in our community. |  |
