    Parents of students who were enrolled in 2012-13 School year must verify their studen'ts information online beggining Aug.6. Once this is done, you do not have to come to the campus to do any other registration.

In preparation for OnlineRegistration 2013-14,
please read the following information
:

 

1.     You will needto know your Family Access Login and Password information to use OnlineRegistration.  

2.     Moreimportantly, you need to make sure your email address is correct in FamilyAccess, in case you forget your password.

 

If you do not know what your Family Access Loginand/or Password is, you will need to come to the school, show your ID and request it. 

 

*If your email address is correct in Skyward, you canclick the  “Forgotten Password” link on the login screen where you can request a password reset.    This you can do yourself, but itdoes require that the email address is correct and attached to the parent ofthe active student.

STUDENT DROP OFF / PICK UP PROCEDURES

When you pick up your child at dismissal, please use caution and patience. For your child’s safety, we have only one pick-up lane. By asking your child to cross moving traffic to meet you in the second lane on Stephanie Drive is dangerous and discouraged. Thank you to the many of you who continue to follow the dismissal procedure on Stephanie. The Faculty parking lot located at the front of the school is not a pick-up or drop off zone. We ask that you not enter this parking lot unless you are accessing handicapped parking.

  


Our school day begins at 8:10 a.m. and dismisses at 3:25 p.m.  The exterior door will open at 7:40 a.m., and we ask that you not leave your children at school before this time as no one is available to supervise them.  The cafeteria will begin serving breakfast at 7:40.  The first bell rings at 8:00.  At that time, students are released to their classroom.  The tardy bell rings at 8:10.  Students who arrive to the building after 8:10 will be counted tardy.

Parent Identification System

Any person visiting David E. Smith Elementary must present their
drivers license
in the front office to be scanned
into the computer system for a name tag to be printed.
This is also requiredfor student early dismissal
