Birdville ISD requests community feedback on the proposed 2016–17 school calendar options.
Studies show that good eating habits support student performance in school. Children who eat healthy meals (breakfasts and lunches) score higher on tests, have better attendance, make fewer trips to school nurses, and have fewer disciplinary problems. School meals play a critical role, as they provide students with the healthiest, lowest-cost, most nutritionally balanced meals available.
Each of our campuses offers a balanced breakfast and lunch, which are available to all students. Monthly calendars are posted on this site with nutritional and allergy information. Feel free to browse our pages for information and a little nutrition education. If you need more information, please feel free to contact our department.
It is truly our pleasure to provide your student with a healthful and balanced meal every day of the school week!
