    HMS students received a Superior rating for their performance of Aunt Leaf by Barbara Wiechmann at the BISD UIL One Act Play Festival.

    Adrianna Ybarra designed beautiful hair and make-up for the cast. Lane Humphrey served as sound technician and Nathan LaFountain was the lighting technician.

  • Art HMS Artists Shine!

    16 HMS artists competed in a Region 11 art event in Keller. Thousands of artworks were judged and artists were interviewed on the quality of their artwork and ability to discuss their techniques, aesthetics, and personal expression among other artistic criteria. 12 of our students scored a 4 (superior), which is the highest they can achieve.

    TAME (Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering) competed on Saturday, February 13th at Richland High School. This was Haltom Middle School's first year to compete, and we walked away with 10 awards, including 2 first place math awards and 1 first place engineering award.
