Welcome to the
Business, Accounting and Payroll Departments’ link.
These departments are responsible for the financial accounting of all district funds, maintenance of federal programs and grants, payroll, accounts payable, benefits, risk management, copy room services and district investments. We have two complementary goals:
To District employees, our goal is to provide clear, concise and useful information to ensure that all staff services are executed efficiently and effectively.
To our community, we pledge to publish information that provides not only the transparency our taxpayers expect, but continues to maintain the high level of trust our community has placed in the district’s fiscal management.
Property Tax Estimator
Property owners in Birdville ISD can estimate their annual school property taxes using the Tax Estimator on the Tarranty County Tax Office at: http://taxoffice.tarrantcounty.com/TaxCalculator.asp . On the “Please select your school” line select “902-Birdville ISD” and on the “Enter the value of your property” line enter the taxable value of your property (you can research this on the Tarrant Appraisal District website at www.tad.org.) If you are claiming a homestead, disabled person, or over-65 exemption, select the appropriate choice on the “Please choose your exemption” dropdown. If you are claiming an over-65 exemption, enter your freeze year and freeze amount. After you click “Submit,” a new webpage showing your annual school property taxes on the “902-Birdville ISD” line will open. The displayed tax rate is for the most recent tax year.
Note that your property’s taxable value is determine by the Tarrant Appraisal District, not by Birdville ISD. Tax rates levied by other taxing entities are determined by those entities, not by Birdville ISD.
