Welcome to Mrs. Whitehead's third grade class.  I am excited to teach lots of eager, excited students.  There'smuch to learn in third grade so we are off and running. 

 

Since the first day of school we have been learning our school-wide motto  "I have the right to learn in a safe, fun supportive environment."

Your student is now having homework on a regular basis.  This is to help develop the life skill of responsibility. 

Spelling homework will come home on Monday and is due on Friday.  Reading logs are checked each Monday morning and are kept with the student for the entire six weeks and turned in at the end of this grading period.  From time to time we will have math homework and also look for those special projects.
