Each year we collect food to donate to local charities. The food is distributed to families that are having a hard time making ends meet, during the holiday season. The Food Drive will be from Nov.1 - Nov.30th.
This year Snow Heights Elementary is challenging Mullendore Elementary to a contest to see which school can collect the most food items. Below is the list of food items to be collected:
Nov. 1 – 5th bring canned meat items (tuna, chicken, chili) and canned vegetables
Nov. 8 - 12th bring canned or dried beans and breakfast items (cereal, pancake mix, oatmeal)
Nov. 15 – 19th bring spaghetti items (noodles, sauce, canned food) and canned fruit
Nov. 22 – 23rd bring canned soups
Nov. 29 – 30th bring bread, cake or dessert mixes.
Please no glass containers
The Principal of the school that collects the least amount of the above food items will wear the other schools Spirit wear and work cafeteria duty during lunch at the winning school. Good Luck !!!!!
