It is truly a blessing to be the Raider Nation's Drama Mama on a daily basis!  My first 5 years at Smithfield were fantastic, and I am looking forward to an equally fantastic year 6!!!
Before feeling the call to share the magical world of theatre through education, I graduated from Richland High School, and then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.  While at UT (Hook 'Em!), I spent a summer interning at the Bush Theatre in London.  Once my degree was complete, I earned an internship at the Juilliard School in New York City.  Following my time in NYC, I spent 10 years focusing on professional theatre and family.  I still work in professional theatre when I can, but my true passion is working with these students every single day.  Seeing their confidence grow and their skills develop makes my heart go pitter-pat.  Smithfield Middle School students are the best of the rest!
