 UIL Academic Competitions are an excellent way to earn scholarships. During the year we have several Practice Meets which the students prepare for with their coach before and after school as a team or individually. In the spring usually at the end of March is the District Competition. If the student places in the top 3 individually or their team places 1st then the student will advance to the Regional Competition at Texas Tech. Again if the student places in the top 3 individually or their team places 1st then the student will advance to the State Competition at UT. Most students who advance to State Competition qualify for scholarships. The link below will give you information about which events are available and the coaches' names and contact information.
