Pumpkin Activities

We estimated how much our pumpkin weighed, how many lines were on the outside and how many seeds were inside.  Hunter came close to estimating the correct number of lines (23) and Evan missed the pumpkins weight by one pound.  He estimated 14 and the actual weight was 15 lbs.  We were a long way away from estimating the correct number of seeds that were inside. We counted a total of 363 seeds!  The nearest estimate was 100.  Check out the photos below to see us at work and to see the results of our pumpkin carving!

Lessons With Mr. Benham

Mr. Benham, our EXCEL Specialist, comes in twice each six weeks to share engaging lessons and activities with us which require us to think in new and different ways. We always enjoy Mr. Benham when he comes to visit and we love the lessons and activities he brings.  Thanks Mr. Benham!  You rock!!
