Welcome to the nurse's office. This is my 2nd year at Birdville Elementary School. I received my ADN from Tarrant County College and my BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington. Before becoming a school nurse, I worked for 20 years in the hospital with acutely ill cardiac patients. Now I enjoy very much working in the school with your children.
My office hours are 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.
I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri, but have lived in Haltom City for over 30 years. My husband, son, and daughter are graduates of Birdville. I am very proud of my 2 grandsons. They are 5 and 6 years old. I entered school nursing to be able to have time off with them in the summer. The bonus is that I found out I love being a school nurse.
